Quality efficient work

We had our condo on the market for 2+ years with no offers. Patricia came in and eliminated some
furnishing and changed others around. We had three offers within a month after going with her suggestions and sold six
weeks later. Her work was comprehensive, efficient and she was so easy to work with.

We had worked with her husband Tom, who is a carpenter and general interior contractor, for more than
fifteen years. I never worried about the quality of their work, their honesty or leaving my animals with them when I
wasn’t there. Can’t say enough good about either one.

A decorator who really listens!!

Patricia has a fabulous eye for design. Despite the fact that we hired her before we really had a plan
in mind, she was extremely patient with us. One thing that really struck me was how she listened to our needs. That is
HUGE! She knew where we should invest our money and what pieces weren’t worth spending a lot. Also, her husband did a
fantastic job refinishing our French doors. They both go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. We were
thrilled!!

She offered great ideas and direction that were economical and helpful. Patricia also did what she said she would do,

We found Patricia last year through Kudzu reviews when we moved to Atlanta and needed help with
blending our belongings into an existing Chastain Park home. She has been and continues to be a superb help to us for
several reasons.
First and foremost, she really does have a creative design eye, which I’ve learned to trust after trying some of her
suggestions.
Second, she listens patiently to both my husband and I and comes up with great ideas that reflect our personal tastes.
Third, she is completely organized, always has a variety of samples to illustrate her suggestions, and she never
forgets to follow up on even small details.
Fourth, she is conscientious about sticking to a budget and will often recommend a range of options based on cost that
allows us to decide how much to invest in a particular area. She is also very good at suggesting ways to re-arrange or
re-purpose existing objects rather than buying completely new.
With her help, we have gone from having a mish-mash of disparate furnishings in a home decorated for someone else’s
belongings, to having a stylish home that flows nicely from one room to another and one that makes us both proud and
comfortable.
We also used the services of her husband, Tom, for several small jobs and were equally impressed with the quality and
professionalism of his work. In particular, I was struck by how well he cleaned up the area when he installed floor
outlets in our hardwood floor.

We were anxious about our remodel. We employed both Patrica and her husband and we are THRILLED with
the results. Patrica is a whirlwind of knowledge and insight. Very pleased with how well she respected our budget and
taste! We weren’t pleased with one of her referral’s work (painter) and she was ON IT, until the work was correct and
we were satisfied. A testament to how serious she is about working for the best interest of her clients! Absolute
professional. The workmanship of her husband Tom is exceptional; his talent is worth the $! We got everything we wanted
from Patrica and Tom- great people to work with, hope to do more projects in the future with them! My highest praise,
we loved their work.

I would highly recommend Patricia! Her first visit was to mainly get ideas for drapery, but when she
left I had 3 pages of ideas from ways to better arrange furniture, to where to re-hang artwork, to how to integrate
rooms better with colors, and so much more! She is very professional, knowledgable and responsive.

she has gone out her way to help with advice and went shopping with us to save us time and helped pick out the best rug

Color Consultation = brand new home

The dining room in my 18 yr old home was in need of new paint colors. I’ve decorated it 3 times over
these years and was out of ideas. But wait, looking around I saw that every room in the house needed to be repainted
and updated. I searched Kudzu and found great reviews about Patricia Scott so I decided to give her a try. I hired her
for a color consultation and it led to so much more. Patricia brought her color samples and got to work trying to pick
out new fresh colors. She gave me a referal for a contractor to remove my popcorn ceiling(the finished job was
great!)With her help we even chose a special color for the ceiling instead of the standard Behr white. The new colors
on the walls were fantastic! Most of my existing decor items even worked with the new colors. Partricia came back and
helped me place pics on the walls and that turned out fantastic also. Thank you Patricia for making my house feel brand
new and fresh!

I highly recommend Patricia Scott as an interior designer. She is very talented and I especially love
her skills at working with and blending colors and styles. I enjoy making many of my own interior design choices but
Patricia has helped me coordinate and pull things together so that I don’t make costly mistakes. It’s so wonderful to
sit in the comfort of my home and have her come to me and then pick out just the perfect area rugs and accessories for
my home. Although always very professional, she is also very relaxed and personable so that I always feel very
comfortable working with her. An additional bonus is that Patricia’s husband, Tom Scott, is an interior contractor and
he has done some carpentry projects for us as well. I am so pleased with all of the results and have received multiple
compliments on the appearance of our home.

Efficient, Enjoyable Way to Decorate

When my husband and I bought a 15-year-old home that had not been maintained well and had an outdated
interior, we worked with 2 big-box stores, ordering our own retro-fit bathroom faucets, etc. and some custom window
treatments. It turned out to be an exhausting experience with partial shipments, delays, numerous phone calls and trips
to stores, missing parts, having to go over the tedious inventory lists ourselves, etc. After receiving all shipments
after 6 months of frustration and delays, we gave up and found Patricia on Kudzu. Since then our house has been updated
smoothly and efficiently, thanks to Patricia’s efforts. She did our overall master plan, made adjustments wherever
needed, then worked within our budget to get our living room, bedrooms and baths redone for our many out-of-town
guests, who think our house looks lovely. Patricia helps my husband solve problems on the work he is doing himself for
the plan, and comes to give advice whenever we need it. We are looking forward to redoing the entire kitchen/breakfast
room someday, working with Patricia from our long-term decorating plan. Thanks, Patricia

Kitchen Remodel

We had replaced our counters with granite and then realized that we were uncertain about how to change
our kitchen to show them off to best advantage. Patricia made excellent suggestions within our budget, guided us on
modernizing and upgrading, and worked with us on styles we like and can enjoy. Our new tile, floor, and wallpaper look
terrific. Tom did a fabulous job with our cabinets and helped with installing lights. Our new kitchen is a delightful
work and family area. We found Patricia and Tom easy to work with and very helpful.

Thrilled with the colors

Hi Patti:

I am thrilled with the colors we/you chose – the house looks great! They power washed yesterday and today caulked
and painted and they just left and it is complete! Did a walk around with the foreman and they actually found some
things I missed and made the fixes with pleasure. They commented on how they liked the style of outlining the trim
and making the all the doors the same as the shutters. Please come by at your convenience and give it your critical
eye – I am open for 2nd looks but you will be pleased.

I love my house. It needed updating. Patricia was a wonder. We did some kitchen remodeling (countertop, backsplash
tile, etc), new window treatments throughout the house, new carpeting, new wallpaper in bathrooms.
I am a teacher. My budget is limited. Patricia was great about using “off the
shelf” goods instead of custom. I especially appreciate the way Patricia
responded to a a minor problem with the
carpet vendor. Her husband, Tom, did alot of the carpentry/decorating work. He is awesome. Patricia and Tom are
straight forward and easy to work with.
I have referred my friends to Patricia and will call her again. Thanks Patricia
and Tom for revitalizing my house!

I contacted Patricia with a question about a replacement piece for a glass top table that I own. She responded to
my email quickly and referred me to a company that has exactly what I needed and at an estimate that is much lower
than I had expected to pay. I will be calling Patricia for my future interior design needs.

I knew from my first conversation with her that we would work well together. She is straightforward, listens to my
needs, likes and dislikes. Although my projects are small, she is very attentive and responds to my emails in a
timely manner. Her color matching ability is top-notch. Those who work with her are also dependable, reliable and
clean up after themselves. I am so happy with the way my place looks! It’s been an amazing transformation at
reasonable prices. She is worth every penny. She saved me lots of money from the start by using things I already
had in new ways. Just rearranging the furniture according to her recommendations was a big improvement. I am very
excited about continuing to work with her on phase II of my condo project! I would wholeheartedly recommend her
to anyone!

I know I have left a review before, but needed to leave another! Patti has proven to me one more time that she is a
professional and works with you instead of against you. She knows I am on a budget and works with me to stay within
that budget. I’ve been using Patti for 7 years and have found no one better. I tried the “Home Depot” thing and I
ended up doing all the work… not worth it! She’s the best. If I could give her 10 stars I would.

I found Patricia Scott on Kudzu.com and could not have been more pleased with her upbeat personality and the many
services she provided. The beautiful paint colors and wallpapers she found for me have transformed the inside of my
house. The fabrics that now cover my old couches and chairs are wonderful and expertly applied. She and her husband
Tom painted some very real-looking faux stones outside my house. And to top it off, she spent hours helping me

A Dynamic Duo

Being a first time renovator, I needed someone who was patient and willing to walk me through my kitchen project.
Patricia and her husband, Tom, were exactly what I needed! Patricia was able to help me articulate my exact
needs…laminate flooring, Silestone countertops, subway-tiled backsplash, new appliances,and a stunning color to
tie it all together. Once Patricia and I fine-tuned our plan, Tom began his magic on the cabinets. He refaced each
cabinet and built several new pieces to update my 60s style kitchen. It’s gorgeous! They went out of their way to
see to it that my kitchen was perfect…timely, considerate, budget-conscious…and above all…quality work! What
a dynamic duo!

Extremely talented designer

Patricia is an extremely talented designer who helped me define my personal style then chose the perfect color
combination / textures to reflect that style. I moved into this house 8 years ago, complete with linoleum, carpet,
and wallpaper. I now have beautiful laminate flooring, granite countertops and backsplash, marble on the fireplace,
and gorgeous paint on the walls. Patricia oversaw every stage of the project, even keeping it on track while I was
on vacation. She stayed in constant contact with me and responded quickly to any questions. I love my NEW house,
and will continue to work with Patricia to pick out the perfect accessories. She’s great!!!

I worked with Patrica to pick out tile for my backsplash in my kitchen. She was terrific with
everything-dependable, follow through was great, and the choices she gave me I loved. I changed my mind a couple of

Patricia and Tom Scott just finished a major home improvement project on my main floor. At Patricia’s suggestion, Tom removed the wall between my kitchen and our small dining room. It made a huge difference. Tom also installed can lighting, under counter lighting, bed molding, and a beautiful backsplash that Patricia selected for me. I have used Patricia Scott Interior Resources a number of times over the past few years, and have been really pleased with the results each time. Patricia is always up on the best design, color, and decorating trends. Her recommendations are always in line with my tastes and budget.
I’ll continue using this amazing team for all of my home improvement needs.
I’ll post photos once my new furniture and kitchen island are in.

Knowledgeable and Talented

Patti is a talented interior decorator. She helped us update our kitchen and most of the other colors in our house from the 80s pinks and greens to the lovely golds and reds of today. With her help, we put in granite countertops, changed the wallpaper from floral to an elegant stripe, coordinated the colors in rooms adjacent to the kitchen–the sunporch, den, foyer, dining room so that everything ties together. We went from somewhat cold and drab looking rooms to rooms that are warm and inviting. I could not have done this without her guidance. Patti is direct, honest, sensitive about budget concerns, and very current in her approaches.
