Summertime means your COOL with a clean, maintained Air Conditioner

With Summer just around the corner take a look at the outside air conditioner unit to be sure it is free of leaves and other debris that may have piled up during the winter

Prune back any foliage that may be blocking the air flow.

Check the floor and surrounding area of the inside unit after about 2 hours of using the air conditioner for the first time; look for water that may not be draining properly.

Change the inside filter as often as recommended by the manufacturer of your particular brand unit. Stay cool!

Keep your house gutters clean and free of debris

With all the rain we have been getting this year be sure to keep the gutters and downspouts clean of leaves and branches.  Water pouring close to the foundation of your home can cause basement leaks and erosion.
