Tom and Patricia Scott Patricia Scott
I am an independent Georgia State Registered Interior Designer #0086 and an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), membership #29711. I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a BFA degree, where I learned to design spaces that fulfill needs and analyze existing spaces that solve design problems as well as create beautiful interiors. While attending college I worked at Pedlar’s Village Interiors and continued on staff for six additional years after graduating.
Features: Being an independent designer gives me the ability to design and manage your job personally. I also don't have to charge enormous fees to support a large overhead and staff.
Tom, my husband and business partner for more than 25 years, is a cabinet maker and interior contractor. His wide range of experience in many trades assures quality and care in your installations and eliminates many sub-contractors being in and out of your home.
Rates: Being an independent designer allows me to offer services at very reasonable rates. One hour of my time may give you the peace of mind that you are on the right track.
I provide personalized service, whether selecting paint colors for one room or designing an entire home.
We can also provide you access to the Atlanta Deorative Art Center (ADAC) and other "to the Trade Only Resources." Call for a Consultation (770) 333-9683 We will provide you timely quotes and solutions to your design challenges.

I began repairing and refinishing cabinets and furniture for neighbors after school and on weekends in California. When my family moved to Louisville, Kentucky, I began working on "turn of the century" homes with elaborate moldings and cabinetry. I learned much of my craft by assisting other cabinet makers and builders in the construction of barns, cabins, and modest homes.
While working in Louisville, one of my clients asked me to remodel the interior of their newly purchased retirement home on Bird Key in Sarasota, Florida. I remained in Sarasota and began working for interior designers building custom furniture, and completing interior installations for design clients.
I met Patricia while working with her design firm and we married in 1981. We moved to Atlanta in 1986 as we both missed the change of seasons and wanted to be closer to family. I worked with several small companies until I started Tom Scott Interior Contractors in the early 90's.
I continue to build a loyal customer base building custom cabinets and small home remodeling projects while working with Patricia Scott Interior Resources and other interior designers in the metro Atlanta area.
